When it comes to updates from Acre13, there’s no strict upload schedule — and that’s intentional.
The work happening on the property is shaped by a few moving parts: my available budget, the time I can put in, and of course, the weather. With our first significant snowfall in the forecast, the pace of projects can shift quickly. Rather than forcing weekly uploads or trying to hit rigid deadlines, I’m choosing a more natural rhythm. I’ll film, build, explore, and share each chapter when it’s genuinely ready.
Acre13 is a long-term project. A real one.
And that means the content will grow the same way the land does — honestly, gradually, and at its own pace.
Filming the Acre13 Journey
For filming on Acre13, I keep things simple and practical. Most of what you’ll see is captured on two cameras: the Insta360 X3, which gives that immersive, multi-angle feel I like, and a solid GoPro Hero 8. Both are paired with mics to keep the natural sounds of the build front and centre — the X3 works great with a Boya mic, and the GoPro uses a Movo shotgun mic. Nothing fancy, just reliable gear that lets me document the work as it really happens.
It’s ready when it’s ready.
That’s the approach — and the promise
